Robot Controller is an app for building and driving your own Arduino robots. It is designed to work without collecting personal data.
Signing in is optional. If you choose to sign in (Google, Humanoid Maker or email) to back up your robots or compile edited sketches, we receive your name, email address and an account identifier, used only to store your own robot data (profiles, poses, animations) against your account. You can delete your account and its data at any time — see account & data deletion. Without signing in, the app collects no personal information.
The Google Play version shows small banner ads served by Google AdMob after certain actions. Ad serving is subject to Google's privacy policy. A "Remove ads" subscription, handled entirely by Google Play Billing, turns them off; we never see your payment details. The version downloaded from our website contains no ads, no sign-in and no billing.
The Shop tab displays our parts store website (pos.hmlweb.com) inside the app. If you place an order there, the name, phone number and delivery address you enter are sent to and stored by that store system solely to process and deliver your order. Payments are completed through your own UPI/payment app — the store never sees your payment credentials.
The app contacts our own server (robotcontrol.hmlweb.com) to fetch product announcements, to compile edited example sketches, and — when signed in — to sync your robot data. Standard web-server logs (IP address, timestamp) may be retained briefly for abuse protection and are not used for any other purpose.
The optional voice-control feature uses your device's built-in speech recognition service (subject to your device vendor's privacy policy, e.g. Google's). Audio is used only to recognise robot commands and is never recorded, stored or transmitted by this app.
Bluetooth and USB permissions are used solely to communicate with your own robot hardware (HC-05 modules and Arduino boards). No Bluetooth or location data leaves your device.
Your robot profiles, poses, animations and settings are stored locally on your device only. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
The app is a general-audience hobbyist tool and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
